“I was inspired to make this costume because I have never done a Kitri act I dress before. I have been dreaming about making this costume for a long time. The color choices for this tutu were obvious, they are very classical colors for the Kitri act I dress. I also picked this sparkly lace as the decoration. As I have never done this costume, I was surprised that it took several days to decorate only the skirt. It was definitely a challenge but I’m in love how the skirt turned out. When I look at this costume, I can definitely see it on stage of any ballet competition and that’s really what I look forward to, to see a picture of a beautiful dancer wearing my very first, original Kitri dress!”

Details

The costume includes the tutu and the separate sleeves. The comb tiara and the rose are NOT included to the product. If you’re curious, both the tiara and the rose are from Lilli Ballet Crowns, an Italian ballet headpiece brand.

This tutu is a traditionally constructed romantic tutu. The tutu has three tulle layers of soft ballet tulle. The bodice is made of stretchy fabric and has hooks and eyes in the back. The bodice has boning and is also detachable, making it possible to use the top and the bottom separately in different costumes. The deep neckline is covered with a mesh insert for modesty and the edge of the neckline has a smooth finish without a visible stitch. The bodice has elastic straps. The panty is made with stretchy lycra. The tutu is decorated with gold glitter lace and glass crystal embellishments. The tutu also has separate arm cuffs made of soft tulle.

Approximately adult S. The costume is stretchy. Please check out the exact measurements below and measure yourself carefully before placing the order. If your measurements are slightly smaller/larger than below, please contact us so we can check out the fit with an adjustable mannequin.

Chest: 85 – 92 cm / 33½ – 36 in.

Waist: 68 – 73 cm / 27 – 29 in.

Hips: 92 – 97 cm / 36 – 38 in.

Vertical torso girth (shoulder-crotch-shoulder circumference): 148 – 155 cm / 58 – 61 in.

The shipping will be calculated based on the address information you have provided. The shipping is approximately EUR 20 inside EU and EUR 30-50 outside EU. If the costume does not fit well, you can return it within fourteen days from receiving the product, when you contact us within three days from receiving the product. The shipping cost will be excluded from the refund to compensate the customs and taxes we face from the return shipment. The customer pays the return costs, however, we want to offer you a free shipping for your next order to compensate and make your shopping experience better. If your measurements are same as the listing states, you don’t have to worry about returning the product. However, if you are still concerned about the fit, we will use an adjustable mannequin to double-check all measurements. Just let us know!
